Have you ever wanted to join the Navy just so you can try the BUDS course? Or the Army so you could do the Ranger Challenge? Or the Marines so you could try the Confidence Course?

The rhinO-Course is a world class obstacle course for civilians fashioned after the US Military training courses. However, while most obstacle courses feature 10-20 obstacles, the rhinO-Course has up to ten times that amount over the span of 4 miles. Climbing through log-jungles, crawling through tunnel mazes, hoisting yourself up through platform holes, swinging across ropes, and maneuvering obstacles…running the rhinO-Course Race is a gut-wrenching, action packed adventure guaranteed to keep your ADD at bay.

  • Location: Boulder City, NV just a couple miles outside of Las Vegas, NV
  • Distance: 5 Miles per lap. Choose between racing one lap or trying for the most laps on race day
  • Description: The RhinO-Course is the only obstacle course race with 100 obstacles and additional extreme obstacles for the elite racers. The mud and water pits are positioned under obstacles and are there to catch your fall or cool you off but are not required.
    • RhinO-Racers: All RhinO-Course racers will attempt every obstacle on the RhinO-Course and can opt for the extreme obstacles if desired. RhinO-Course racers are allowed assistance from buddies and have a 5 burpie penalty for uncompleted obstacles. This is a challenging course, but doable with the right heart and mindset. If you’re not sure you can do it, come out to our training days listed on the left of this page as well as under ‘Race Info.’ You will be able to try some of the more challenging obstacles there.
    • Elite racers: Elite Racers wear special bibs and are required to try every obstacle including the extreme obstacles with a penalty for every obstacle un-completed. The results will be listed with the Elite racers who completed every obstacle first, and then continue with the racers who had to do penalty burbies. Extreme/Elite RhinO-Course racers are not allowed assistance but are allowed to do penalty burpies instead of the obstacle (they will just be placed according to how many extreme obstacles they completed). Each extreme obstacle has a different burpie # assigned to it in order to level the playing field. All of this allows serious racers to compete in their own category. Elite racers with a sub-six mile time are encouraged to race at 8:00AM to avoid getting slowed down by other racers.
    • 9-Hour Endurance racers: 9-Hour endurance racers may start any time during the day, but an 8AM start time is reccomended. The 9-Hour endurance challenge is issued to see who can do the most EXTREME laps in one day. Whoever completes the most extreme laps conquering every extreme obstacle wins the challenge. If there is a tie, the winner will be decided by how fast the laps were completed. The results will be listed by most number of extreme laps (with every obstacle conquered) completed followed by the racers with the most laps including penalties.

Between the obstacles, location and military presence- this obstacle course will leave you wanting more.
